The acoustic side of this multitalented rock diva!
Nicolette Street is a versatile artist, always ready to push the boundaries and willing to try new approaches with her music. During previous Under The Radar sessions she has been accompanied by her full band, The Revs, and always delivered an impressive and full-on live session. This time round, she came on her own, armed with her guitar and her piano, and performed two acoustic stripped back songs, accompanied by each of her instruments respectively.
Nicolette has a full and rich voice which covers a wide range of musical styles, from the raunchier side of rock, to the more gentle and soulful ballads. This session was about the latter and demonstrated her versatility as a performer and a song-writer.
Nicolette has a very busy year ahead with full band gigs, a string of solo acoustic performances, and some appearances in Europe lined up. She is also working on new tracks with a selection of different producers which include working on dance remixes of some of her existing material as well as brand new compositions.
For news of gigs, recordings and to hear more of her music check out her website! The full session can be heard at the bottom of this post including HD video of both songs!
